Katherine Hamilton

Hamilton is Chair of 38 North Solutions, a woman-owned public policy firm specializing in clean energy and innovation. She is currently President of GRID Alternatives Mid-Atlantic and Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum‘s Future of Energy Global Future Council. Hamilton served as President of the GridWise Alliance, focused on smart grid advancements. Prior to that role, Hamilton was policy advisor for Good Energies, a private investment company with a clean energy technology portfolio. At the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), Hamilton led energy and water efficiency deployment programs and managed government relations. Hamilton spent a decade designing electrical systems for commercial and residential developments. She holds degrees from Cornell University and the Sorbonne. Hamilton is part of The Energy Gang podcast through Greentech Media.
