Josh Levi

Josh Levi is recognized for his technology and business policy expertise in key areas across the technology ecosystem.

Since 2002, he has served as Vice President for Policy for the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), a nationally-recognized trade association serving the region’s technology community. He is the policy voice of the organization, leading federal, state and local government relations, policy development and advocacy initiatives. In addition to managing and coordinating NVTC internal and external policy staff, Josh represents the association and its membership before policymakers and policymaking bodies, as well as on national, state and local policy-driven coalitions and business organizations.

Josh has advocated before Virginia policymakers as a registered lobbyist for the past 20 years. He is recognized as a leader in forging consensus among diverse stakeholders and building and leading coalitions to advance key organizational priorities. Josh has participated in numerous policy-related committees and commissions including gubernatorial technology policy transition committees and legislative advisory committees.

Josh established NVTC’s Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure Committee to advocate on behalf of the data center sector. In addition, Josh led the launch and development of NVTC’s Sustainable Energy Committee to help drive the organization’s efforts in advancing a strong regional and statewide clean tech and sustainable energy ecosystem.
Josh serves as a key spokesperson for NVTC with national, regional and local media outlets and regularly presents on behalf of the organization as a panelist or speaker. As a member of the NVTC’s senior leadership team, he provides strategic guidance and counsel related to all facets of the organization’s mission, goals and strategy.

Josh was awarded a bachelor’s degree in political science from Virginia Tech, graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law, and is a member of the Virginia State Bar.
