Angela Navarro currently serves as Deputy Secretary of Natural Resources for Governor McAuliffe. In this role, she works on clean air, land conservation, and energy policies. Prior to her appointment, she spent five years in the Virginia office of the Southern Environmental Law Center, where she was a member of the Clean Energy and Air team. While at SELC, she led the organization’s work to advance investments in energy efficiency across the Southeast and represented clients in electric utility proceedings before the Virginia State Corporation Commission. Angela is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Florida and holds a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
